Some cracking racing in Ireland on Wednesday which unlike the cards at Newbury and Catterick has survived the elements.
Two Grade 1 races – all eyes will be on BEEF OR SALMON in the Lexus Chase at 2.35 in his bid to win the race for the third time.
He beat Best Mate by seven lengths in this race last season but has failed to win since and ran no race at all in the Cheltenham Gold Cup. We don’t fancy backing him at odds on today and will take him on with WAR OF ATTRITION who was good enough to beat Kicking King earlier in the season and can be excused a poor run last time when the stable was under a bug. He certainly looks the better value.
